Barcamp Abidjan’09 be held this summer. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet the players and experts of web and mobile technologies in Côte d’Ivoire. This event will be the state of the production and use of the web and mobile technologies in Côte d’Ivoire and in Africa. Many workshops allow anyone to discover or develop a technology or concept. Everyone is invited within the limits of the capacity of rooms.
Objectives
Barcamp Abidjan’09 aims to:
1. Centralize the discussion on information technology while making a real community governed by strong ties of sharing ideas and discussions.
2. Show examples of success of professional business or product after Ivory Coast and Africa
3. To show the needs of the population and local businesses in terms of use of mobile and internet.
4. Identify potential stakeholders and influential projects that might lead to increasing power and international competitiveness of new technologies.
5. Create a format for meeting future Barcamp Abidjan. The site will http://www.barcampabidjan.com and continue conversations and actions initiated and / or planned in the physical encounters.
