Faces at the Preview screening of Talk with Funmi-TWF in Lagos

TWF is a multi-segment variety show set in multiple locations across Nigeria. It brings truly inspiring real life stories, fresh perspectives of our diverse cultures, tangible information and inspirational experiences of real people from various parts of the country into the homes of Nigerians in a fun filled engaging and entertaining manner.

After eight years of producing and hosting the acclaimed studio talk show, New Dawn, Funmi Iyanda is back at the helm of a different kind of show. The new project is called Talk With Funmi.

Guests were offered a sneak preview of this new show at a screening which took place at the Silverbird Cinemas on Friday 16th October. Mr. Frank Edoho, presenter of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, was at hand as compere of the event.

Guests began to fill up the venue long before the scheduled start time. In attendance was Governor of Lagos State His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola, and his Oyo State counterpart, His Excellency Adebayo Alao Akala, as well as industry stalwarts from various sectors of the corporate world. The screening began at 5.30 prompt

The International Children’s Film Festival, Nigeria 2009

Introduction

The International Children’s Film Festival, Nigeria 2009, will give children in Africa the opportunity to express themselves with scripts and camera and tell their own stories, to their own audience, under the festival theme: GLOBAL PEACE.

NEFFA FILM & TELEVISION MARKET 2009

The festival will be open to all Film lovers regardless of their race, gender or nationality; it is also an opportunity not only to present films and International Cinemas and widen networks, but to socialize with fellow film professionals from all over the world.

NEFFA 2009 Film market will be one of the largest gathering of filmmakers in Diaspora with the state-of-the-arts multimedia presentations featuring various films, screenplays, and rare archival essays, posters, cinema, books, characters, and photos. The festival will also feature talent spotlights; studio premieres and awards gala-dinner honoring the NEFFA 2009 winners.
