Day 1: For Software Developers February 18 Day 1 will focus on pushing the boundaries of web applications using Google developer technologies. Google engineers and web development leaders will lead you through one full day of in-depth sessions on the latest Google technologies and hands-on codelabs. The day will also be about bringing brilliant developers together to share their own ideas. There will be plenty of time to meet other developers, discuss ideas and share what you’ve been working on. Day 2: For Marketing Professionals and Entrepreneurs February 19 Day 2 will be full of Google product demonstrations for businesses to help spur innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. We will discuss how to create local content using online tools, how to market them and how to monetize. Furthermore we will discuss several tools to better manage your business. In addition, we have invited several venture capitalists from around the world to talk about raising capital for your business. Day 3: For Computer Science Students February 20 Day 3 will basically contain shorter versions of Day 1 presentations and include a session with venture capitalists. We will also cover some of the existing Google student outreach programs and opportunities.

The 7th International Symposium on Avian Influenza will be held at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Athens, Georgia, USA, on April 5-8, 2009. Oral and poster presentations will focus on poultry and wild birds including pathobiology, virus reservoirs and ecology, molecular basis of virulence, vaccines and diagnostics, phylogenetics and molecular epidemiology, risk assessment, transmission, national and international control strategies, economics, updates on recent highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreaks and impact on human health with a focus on occupational and exposure risks.
